Controlling Cryptosporidium Dairy Insight

Cryptosporidium remains one of the most frustrating calf diseases on UK dairy farms. Once established, it is notoriously difficult to eliminate because the parasite survives for months in the environment and spreads rapidly between young calves. Preventing infection relies on a combination of strong immunity, excellent hygiene, and reduced environmental contamination.
